28th October Pop Up Restaurant at Olivers Cafe Bistro

Next month sees an exciting event for Sheffield Supper Club and I invite you all to join me.
It'll be the largest pop up I've done to date, so please make sure to tell anyone you think might be interested in a social evening of feasting on traditional Pakistani food.

The date is 28th October and the venue is just off Sharrow Vale road, Sheffield.

Here's the menu; it's a selection of favourite classic dishes I've enjoyed with my family.
Please read the FAQ's on the left hand side of the blog and feel free to email me any other inquiries.

Aloo Tikka
Spicy fried potato and pea dumplings, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle! Served with green chutney.

Karahi Keema
Minced lamb cooked with a rich blend of spices, served with pilau rice and Sai Bhaji

Sai Bhaji
A vitamin rich green vegetable curry, served with the keema and pilau as described above.

A childhood favourite - creamy vermicelli pudding rich with cardamon and saffron.

Haldi Doodh
A traditional warming turmeric drink, great for this time of year. Coffee will also be available.

Event begins at 7pm

Tonight saw our youngest ever guest, Oliver at 16 months old! He shook everyone's hand and was truly the social butterfly of the party. Guests chatted the night away whilst sipping refreshing jal jeera and lounging on the colourful giant cushions.

"Chef Komal khan is the founder of the city's first supper club, and in preparing her menus, she calls upon professional cookery experience" Telegraph "Pakistani food, done with all the warmth and comfort of home cooking. This supper club is run by Komal Khan, a chef who is as talented at fusion cooking as she is at the traditional, so there are interesting twists a-plenty on her menu, as well as influences from all over the globe."- BuzzFeed
